Additional Information

Many of my nonprofit colleagues have participated in these one-day workshops, which offer support, mindfulness practices, cognitive therapy tools, and community to those of us living with depression and anxiety. This focus seems extra important during this coronavirus crisis, with so many unknowns and so much loss. We are in the development stages to bring these offerings online. Rather than offering an all-day virtual workshop, we have designed a 6-week class consisting of one-and-a-half-hour sessions and an optional weekly practice group to discuss and share experience with tools and practices. Dates are:
• Class: Mondays, 7/20; 7/27; 8/3; 8/10; 8/17; 8/24; 5:30 PM-7 PM
• Practice session: Thursdays, 7/23; 7/30; 8/6; 8/13; 8/20; 8/27; 5:30 PM-6:30 PM

Teaching team: David Zimmerman, Abbott, San Francisco Zen Center; Paul Irving, Buddhist teacher trained in the Vipassana tradition at Spirit Rock; Lisa Hoffman, trained in the Soto Zen tradition at San Francisco Zen Center
