Three-month session: every other Monday
5;30 PM-6:30 PM, beginning September 12
Kindness, mindfulness, and therapeutic tools are engaged to shift our relationship with depression, anxiety, and their companions – judgement and self-criticism – in SFZC’s Transforming Depression and Anxiety (TDA), and Finding Ease with Anxiety classes.
This 3-month virtual practice community supports participants of these courses in practicing compassion and using session tools to disrupt reactive mental patterns that threaten to steal our peace of mind-heart and the moment. We will also engage noticing and questioning the old stories we have long believed about ourselves that can literally poison our perceptions of self, others, and reality. Our purpose is to live more fully in the present moment, less affected by reactivity, rumination and worry — one of the most powerful antidotes to lowered and agitated moods. If you have taken TDA or Finding Ease, please try this Practice Group. If you haven’t, the next online course begins in June.
Practice Group registration not yet open.
